2020 made us aware of another important lesson – support. Whether it’s frequenting small and neighborhood businesses, volunteering, or safely checking on a neighbor, coming together as a community has kept us connected, brightened our days, and helped decrease each other’s struggles.
The past year has been incredibly stressful. With the pandemic, it was difficult to be able to get away to recharge. Finding other ways to decompress, whether unplugging from social media and the 24-hour news cycle, safely exercising outdoors or doing puzzles, mental and emotional health for everyone became a focus. Make efforts to keep your brain and body rested to stay healthy in the new year.
2020 also taught us to be flexible and shake things up. Whatever worked for us before may not work in these times or moving forward. We’ve had to be creative and open to new solutions (for instance, working remotely was a very remote idea even two years ago). In business, attracting new customers and nurturing those relationships has utmost importance as we all struggle. Let’s keep that commitment going.
